Welcome and thank you for your interest in our campaign! The release and restitution of an estimated 1,200 chimpanzees currently in U.S. laboratories depends on people like you. People who are asking what can I do to help? How can my voice on their behalf be heard? Project R&R, a national campaign to end the use of chimpanzees in research, is your resource to help chimpanzees today. Together we will accomplish our goal!
- Start by educating yourself. Releasechimps.org is being hailed as the online resource for information on chimpanzees in research. Visit our mission page. From there, learn about the sanctuaries and most importantly the chimpanzees themselves — Tom, Billy, Jeannie and others whose stories will move and inspire you.
- Next visit our take action page. Support The Great Ape Protection Act, H.R. 5852! Sign our petitions. Post our logo on your website. And, help place our radio PSA and print PSA on your local radio station or newspaper or magazine of choice.
- Finally, donate to Project R&R. From rescue efforts to educational outreach — each and every dollar makes it all possible!
